Dr Chris Hay (he/him) is Professor of Drama at Flinders University, where he also serves as the research lead for AusStage, the Australian Live Performance Database, and the Director of Assemblage Centre for Creative Practice Research. An Australian cultural and theatre historian, Chris’s award-winning research examines subsidised performance for what it reveals about national preoccupations and anxieties. He holds a range of leadership and editorial roles in national and international organisations and is the Flinders institutional lead for ACHF.
